This simple pair of black socks was knitted in a broken rib stitch. It is a very straight forward way of adding some interest to your knitting. I made these for a friend of mine who a little while back said he would like hand knitted socks for his birthday.

I finished them last night and washed them in wrapture, the eucalan detergent with jasmine oil in it. So now my friend will have sweet smelling birthday socks. I have attached a card to the socks with info on the yarn and how to wash them.
